Estepona
This time I am going with my wife for a quick break to enjoy some sunshine, slow down a little, and spend quality time together. Joining us will also be our son Mateusz and his girlfriend, so it should be a really nice family trip with a mix of rest, short drives, good food, and beautiful views.
Me, my wife, our son Mateusz, and his girlfriend.
Quick break, warm weather, easy exploring, seaside atmosphere, and family time.
Estepona on the Costa del Sol, with a few interesting places planned around the area.
About this trip
Estepona is a perfect place for a short escape. The town has a relaxed Andalusian feel, palm-lined streets, a pleasant seafront, and a slower rhythm that makes it ideal for switching off for a few days. We are hoping for good weather, some proper sun, and the kind of trip where there is no need to rush.
Andalusia always has something special about it. There is a mix of sea, mountains, white towns, history, and food that gives the whole region its own atmosphere. The Costa del Sol is known for light, warmth, and long coastal views, so it should be a great setting for this little family break.
We are also planning to see a bit more than just the beach. Gibraltar is one of the places we would like to visit, with its famous rock, views across the water, and unique character. Ronda is another place on the list, known for its dramatic setting, bridges, and scenery. We are also interested in visiting some olive oil production sites, which should be a nice way to experience another side of southern Spain and learn a bit more about one of the region's best-known traditions.
For now this page is just a preview. The pictures and memories will appear here after the trip.
Andalusia & Costa del Sol
Warm light, Mediterranean coast, relaxed evenings, Spanish food, and a mix of seaside life with traditional southern character.
Gibraltar
A day out with impressive views, the famous rock, and a place that feels different from the rest of the region while still being close enough for an easy trip.
Ronda
One of the most striking places inland, with dramatic landscapes, deep gorge views, and the feeling of seeing a very different side of Andalusia.
Olive Oil Visits
We hope to visit some olive oil production sites and enjoy a more local experience, with a look at how one of Spain's most iconic products is made.
Photos will be added after the trip
This page is ready and waiting for the gallery. Once we are back from Estepona, I will add photos from the coast, family moments, day trips, sunshine, and all the best memories from the week.
